Default Painted Center Caps

So after looking at all the nice painted center caps at Sharks in the Park I decided I need to enhance my worn center caps...After hearing how a couple of other 928ers hand painted thier caps using model paint...it sounded like a good idea...my friend (and fellow 928er) Gerry (an advid model car collector) hand painted his center caps (same reason as me) & they looked great....so he painted mine too!!! Here is some before and after photos.....I think they turned out great!!!!!!!!!!!

I did this years ago. Testors Model Masters line of paint has actual Porsche colors, like Guards Red. The three colors needed are Gold (#1744), Classis Black (#2721) and Guards Red (#2718) The paint is very durable without any overcoat. My caps are now about 15 years old and need some touch-up.
