Default I'm gonna kill the emissions kid....

This morning I took my new shark to the emissions place to get tested. After unlatching the hood and handing the key over, they made me go and watch from a side room with big windows. I watched while the kid with the baggy jeans and nose ring lifted the hood, looked inside, then DROPPED IT from a height of about 2.5 feet. The hood shocks are shot so nothing kept it from slamming. There doesn't appear to be any damage as a result, but what would you have done? I'm pretty non-confrontational so I let it go.

Total Disrepsect. I would have "aksed" him what he thought about me doing something like that to his ride if he had anything or worth. After I was free of the test of course.

The rare times Gretch goes into a shop that is not her own home, I accompany her. If I am not allowed in, neither is Gretch.......Seriously.

Pretty much Gretch.

I never did tell the story about the ONE TIME I gave in and had the 89 S4 (when it was, um, you know, running and together) washed at a place. Supposedly hand wash stuff with the no -touch policy for brushes.

So the lacky that gets the cars out of the tunnel hops in, and proceeds to NOT look at the inlay on the gear **** (I'm watching - and have mentioned that first is DOWN LEFT) and simply shift into reverse like it was 1st. Uh huh. And bangs the 928 into the S500 behind it. I run over screaming at the guy like I'm on meth and he just shrugs and luggs it out of second to the drying area. The miss three spots, and I bring the owner out to discuss. He gets the guys to wipe thier dirty *** cloths on those areas, only masking the dirt with dirty water. Nice.

And this is the best no-touch in San Diego supposedly. Right.

Having someone else wash Gretch....hmmmm now there is an idea I have never thought of.....You know...maybe what the problem is, is that you guys are treating these things like they were just cars or something.......

Am i the only one who gets to test his own car? I've been to the same emmisions station (the dyno type) twice with my car and both times, i never got out or was asked to do so. Maryland must have a hands off policy for exotics.

You think you got it easy? We don't test for emissions in NH.......Yet.

My inspector looks at the mileage. This spring, the elapsed mileage between inspections was a little over 1,500. Oh yeah, they also take a peek under the hood every year, since they found out about Gretch's lung job.......Hillbillys is like that............

Also, re emissions some cars in MA get a pass on emissions. they read the computer code instead......99 Tahoe, 00 A6 Turbo and my 00 C4....all got inspections this year without emissions sniffer...........Tell the truth, I don't ever know what to expect with the clowns in MA.

Maryland has no yearly inpsections like PA and VA. The only time a car is inpected is when it gets sold. You see alot a POS cars that have no business running still on the roads here in MD.
