Bay Area, Diablo Wash-n-Shine Sunday 5/29
This years Diablo Region Wash-n-Shine is coming up this Sunday, May 29, in Danville. This is a fun event, doesn't count in the overall concours points, so don't be afraid to show up. Not too nitpicky, just a casual glance by the judges. Here's a link to the flyer:

Kinda a bummer that they scheduled it in the middle of the 3 day weekend, but I'll be there with Tom in his 1996 993 C4S.....the 928 is resting while it waits for new shocks. Any regulars planning to be there....Nicole, Bill, Dennis, Rob?

There are quite a few possibilities for Sunday, including sleeping in... If I go, I certainly won't enter my car this year. I don't have the time to clean it, and you know my rant from last year.
The most likely scenario would be that I drop by on the way to visit Beth and Rich in Napa...

No one is entering? That means if I enter, my bug-spattered, bent-splittered, brake-dust-caked, no-interior-having beast will get a trophy for sure . . . and it sure would be fun showing Nicole the new trophy . . .

I completely forgot about those ribbons . . .
I remember when they were handing them out and everyone was asking WTF? You could tell the ribbon lady was getting tired of being asked the same question . . .
Bill - bring the track car. Just hose down the inside because remember, it's not the condition, it's the cleanliness . . . Also, fill in the "E" in the embossed emblem on the rear bumpercap. It's a "PORSCH" concours.
