Very nice!

The true test will be to see how long it last after installation, right.

correct, however, I have tested the actual materials up to 200 degrees
if I needed a dash I would have no problem putting this in my car what so ever

to answer your question rixter, no I cannot find the cracks.

Well done! I think mine might be a bit too far gone for repairs - pulling the old dashcover didn't do it any favors either. I may be needing to get a used one in better shape, and go from there.

Nice job! Glad to hear your dash finally kicked the crack habit. More details please.

Nice job Rixter. I though all the early cars had leather dashes? Guess not.

thanks folks.. just a couple things..
I DO NOT NEED THIS DASH.... if anyone wants it I think $300 + shp is a decent deal, I'll warranty it for 90 days as far as the repairs go, if it fails I'll fix it free (does not include shp/installation, only materials and labor)
I'm using a similar technique as on the pods, just more sanding involved due to the contours

I"m working on the write up, have pics... need someone to post it for the DIY crowd.. Pirtle???

Fire away, when ready! Let's see, dash cracks . . . that's project number 27, no maybe 26. Hmmmm? I know it's on the list here somewhere. Right down there near tempostat thing.
