Metro DC - MD/VA Porsche Club this Sunday 5/22?
Any Washington DC area shark owners planning to attend the local Porsche Club "meet and drive"?

I wondered if this is mostly an air-cooled crowd or if there is some 928 representation. Any one ever go to one of these events?

Look's like fun. If I was up there, I'd probably go. I went to high school in Frederick County. My dad still lives next to Baker Park (it's like the redneck version of NYC's Central Park). Dutch's Daughter is overpriced and the food was good, but not great the few times I went. It may have improved. I haven't been there since they moved about 5 years ago.
The drive up to Gambrill State Park is fun and fairly short. Just take Rt 40 West out of Frederick and you'll see a sign on your right. It's about 5 minutes outside Frederick. The views are great from the top if it's clear. If the usual Frederick smog is out, you can't see much.

I went on one of these fun runs a couple of years ago. I had a great time, even though 928 representation was real thin. The worst part about it was the actual driving. It was slower than a funeral procession.
