Brake caliper assembly grease is silcone based. CRC makes it or call your favorite 928 vendor. Any large chain parts store should have it, lots of manufacturers sell their own variant.

I just dipped my fingers into the manifold and rubbed some of the oil that was already there around the aperture. What the hell: it's going to get oil all over it again anyway...

Dude- what kind of question is this? Like, whatever sort of oil comes handy when you're working on your car! Motor oil from the can or something....sheesh!
MAF sensor: a tiny amount of WD40 on my fingers, then worked it into the mounting flanges on my 928's intake. Then I pounded the part into place with my hand. Is it going to be a big project?

I prefer using a 4lb. 8 0z Cornish game hen, placed breast side down into a stainless steel Dutch over with copper bottom, set on a gas burner at exactly 400 degrees, bathed in a marinade of 4 cups distilled glacier water, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1.5 tsp of Tub's BBQ sauce. Saute' for exactly 7 minutes, use a stainless steel syringe and extract exactly 2.37 mL of the marinade, and briskly walk over to the waiting MAF sensor equally distributing the contents at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Use your index finger spread the marinade in an counter clockwise fashion and install.
Done.
