Will an 85-87 ac controler unit (center of consol) fit in my 80 928?

 

It will fit in the space BUT it will not plug in and function 1980-1983 1/2 is one unit 83 1/2- 1990 another, 91-95 another.

I'm looking for a control head. I have an 86.5 US. Would the Euro fit and work without modifications?

The only thing different on the Euro version is the temp is in C but you would need one from the proper year.

 

No if you ment the one I have. Sorry for not being clear.

 

i should have been clear myself. I was talking generally about the euro vs. us versions. I assumed it would just be the cosmetic plate on the front that was different. I wasn't sure if there were different electrical components.
