Default S front suspension and brakes for sale

Well I'm almost done with my S4 suspension and brake upgrade and now it is time to get rid of the S parts. In 2001 I bought new F/R rotors, new front flexible brake lines, F/R caliper rebuild kits, new Metal Master pads F/R, new steel type lower ball joints, new upper ball joint boots, new lower front shock mount and caster/camber eccentrics. The calipers were disassembled, re-sealed and painted. 7K miles are on these new parts. Rear pads have very little wear fronts are approx 50%. The front wheel bearings have approx 22K miles. Uppers ball joints are still firm at 125K miles. I'd like to sell the whole package (everything you see in the picture) for $200 plus shipping. If no one takes the whole package then I post individual piece prices next week.

Hi Paul
I may be interested. I assume your '82 euro has the same brakes as my US '82, althought I am not sure. I am satisfied with the brakes in my '82 but my '79 brakes are really scary so I have been thinking about an upgrade and am not really up for 1K$ plus for S4 brakes. Do you have a weight estimate or could you figure out what shipping to Los Angeles might cost?
Thanks,
-Karl

Karl - Unless your US '82 came with the optional 'competition package' your car has the non-S brakes. The ones I'm selling are the S brakes (larger rotors and calipers for better stopping). Weight will probably be around 80-100 lbs and shipping (i'll probably use Fowardair, that's how I got my S4 parts from California) I will estimate at around $150. I'll get more details on shipping today.

Hi Paul
Yes, my '82 has the competition package, which I think is pretty much just the brakes, spoilers, and perhaps different gear ratios. If shipping is in the $150 range, and the parts are still available, I do want them. Let me know the details and I will get a check coming (assuming that is how you would like to get paid). Sorry Scott.

Karl,

Are mostly interested in the brakes?

If the brakes are what you are after maybe we can work something out with Paul because I am mainly in need of the steel lowers, brackets, eccentrics, and upper joints. Brakes are not high on my list. Let me know.

Yup, I am only after the rotors, calipers, and spindles. I don't think I need the rest of the parts for the upgrade and infact the rest of the parts would probably just go onto my growing unused parts pile. If Paul will split it up I am all for it.

Paul,

You up for a split? I will take the balance of parts not on Karl's list. Suspension parts including lower ball joints, shock brackets, eccentrics, and upper ball joints. If you are good with this, please PM Karl and I with applicable pricing.

Do you concur Karl?

Fine by me.
Randy, I realize I am kinda skating on the edge here. Sorry about that. I'll (finally!) get around to sending in my box tops sometime in the next few days. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have some amusing pictures to post.

Scott and Karl check your PM. Did I do something wrong here by posting parts for sale?
