Default New Front Spoiler on the GT.

I finally got the front spoiler I bought a while back mounted on the GT. I had bought it on the German Ebay a year ago or so and tried it once on my old car, but the color was off.

I think it looks pretty good, it is a bit lower then the original one, but also seems to be built better. It came with all the german TUV papers to make it legal on a german 928 GTS, wind tunnel testing, technical drawings ect. It was made by Strosek.

What do you guys think? Nice / ugly?

regards,
Sab.

I like it, it looks a little more aggressive than stock.

I like it a lot - do you have any pictures from farther away of the whole car? I'd like to see how it flows with the rest of the lines of your GT. From what I can see though...it is an improvement on the original Just my $.02.

How much did it run you?

It makes the car look lower in the front, which is always desirable from a visual standpoint. I hope you won't get any problems with curbs, though.

Strosek has a good hand in making things look good - there are very few things he's ever done that I felt were ugly. Many were over the top, but still done with a sense of style...

What is that little red sticker for? It doesn't look like a Strosek logo to me.

PS: I hear your GT begging for a set of aero mirrors. Have you heard it already?

Thanks,
I will get a picture of the whole car and post it.

Nicole,
it definetely sits lower and will easily scrub.
The spoiler had GTS emblem in the front, so the red S stays for the supercharger that will be coming soon...
regards,
Sab.

And yes, I heard the call for the mirrors, but due to budget restraints, next quarter...

Very low key... could pass for factory stock, I think! Nice.

Oh, that explains why it's a little off-center. OK, makes sense now!

Sab,

I have two questions. Is this a regular Strosek product and will it fit on a 1979?

Thanks,

Art

I like it! Can you get a better shot of the front quarter panel? It's kind of hard to see in the lighting.

I saw this on the S4 before it was painted to match Sab's black GT. It is sweet - big upgrade over standard spoiler. Fits like factory and is high high quality. It is low, so care must be taken.

Sab, since no-one else has asked, what was the $ for that spoiler?

Art,
it came with papers for the german TUV (similar to DOT here) and they where from Strosek's company and stamped and signed by Strosek. But as far as know he does not sell anymore of the 928 products, so I guess this one is unique. Unless Jquemond makes it, but it would probably be $2k. If someone can make a mold, I could take it off easily...
It is made to replace a S4 and up, so I don't think it would be a direct fit for the older cars.
Mark,
I got this one on german Ebay and I think it was around 60,00 Euro, so about $80.00. I am sure it cost quite a bit more when good old Vitorio sold it new.

I will make some more pictures.
regards,
Sab.
