Only 3/16" between Tensioner bolt head and lock nut, does this seem ok?

Over the years, the most common thing that we see missing in the tensioner area, is the 10mm steel washer that goes between the spring on the tensioner and the plastic bushing that goes over the actual tensioning pin. About 75% of the vehicles we see are missing this piece. This will increase the "bolt" extension by a couple of millimeters. Combine this with an aftermarket belt that streatches more than a factory belt, and it is indeed possible to have the tensioner bolt screwed in until it is almost bottomed.

I got the belt from 928 Int. It was the High torque belt they offer but not the factory belt. I have the washer between the spring and bushing.
Thanks all!

I'm just popping in here to say that this thread motivated me to pull my tensioner apart. Lo and behold I discover that the washers were not aligned the right way. They are now, though.
I wonder whether the same dumbass wrench used by the PO who short-circuited the tensioner warning wire messed with the washers, too. I'm adding this to the list of engineering "gems" I've found during the rebuild.

Don T. came by with his Kempf tool and it's spot on with mine. I can't find anything else. It's going back together and I will keep a close eye on it. I also adjusted the cam timing to 0. Thanks for all the help. Thanks Don for coming down.
