Default 928S WHITE FS

Hello all,
please do not flame me as I am just trying to let you all know about it.
This is just to let you know that it is available now, and to get feed back on value and or where to find a home for this car.
Normally I only post in 944 forums as I own one, but because I know of a 1983 Porsche 928s for sale where I work, I thought I would let you all know.
It is white and has the dark brown interior with (I am sorry) an automatic.
Has 137k ish on the ODO and runs good. Not a parts car, but could make a sweet driver with some TLC. I am not sure but the Po said it may need a water pump. Has books and spare. Wheels are the standard, (flat face polished) wheels. PO said he drove it very little and put about 100 miles on her in two months.
If by chance anyone has interest or wants pics, let me know and I will see what I can do to put them up.
Thanks again for any interest or suggestions as to where to advertise.
PM or E-mail ok.
Chris...

"TLC" + "needs water pump"/'82 928s = no more than $4500 value

If I were him - I'd clean it up really good, take a bunch of pics and put it on eBay.

Not 82 but an 83, not that it makes a ton of difference. Also the TLC part is just basic detail and cleaning. The Water Pump is expensive I know, but I thought that the 928S would be worth at least 5000.00 if it was in good shape and had papers.
Thanks for the info.
I will let my used car manager know maybe we should send it to auction or perhaps wholesale it to the gypsies.
I am a manager at a dealership, and as you do not see these come in on trade that often, I thought I would give the Renn-guys first crack. Just in case.

What if someone were to have it done prior to sale? If the Used car manager thought it would sell I could maybe have it changed first. We do have some connections to this kind of work. Let me know what you would think of one that has the water pump DONE and some TLC needed.

Easy money the odometer is kaput. I reckon the two month PO noticed the water pump leaking, got the quote for timing belt/water pump job and dropped it like a hot potatoe.

$5000 is about right...for the after purchase, deferred maintenance costs. The car itself, ~$3000, in Portland money; trade value was probably $2000, correct?

(Gypsies mean Russians, here in Portland, and they wouldn't buy that car - no resale value. They prefer Volvos.)

Where do you work? I'll check it out.

Have you ever driven a 928 with an automatic? I have and I am not sorry. Sorry just my 2 cents. Back to your add.

No better trade in value than that
And No I mean Gypsies.
PM me for info on location.
And I only said sory for Auto because everyone I have spoken to has said, "It is not an Auto is it?"
Like I said you all know far more about these than I do. It it were a 944 it would be a different story.
