Poor little bugger...

 

Check out the corrugated rubber shift boot. The only one I've ever seen was in a picture in the Porsche introductory brochure. Does anyone have a '78 with a corrugated rubber shift boot? My '78 is #975 and it has a leather shift boot.

 

Whats going on with those side markers? No rear fog, but euro side markers in front... US or Euro?

 

Anybody get a VIN on that thing? Looks like it could be a VERY early model.

sent an email for the vin#... my bet is that the rear clip has been swapped out..
note the double markers on the front, and placement of the rear side "reflectors"
someone either did a real hack job or some major swapping..

there is another parts/project car in TX for sale that I know of...
79 needs lots of work $1000 is asking price if anyone wants the contact info let me know

the ebay 78 was sold to someone in WA state, still awaiting the vin#
