Beguiled, bewildered, bemused...I just don't know.

As you can see from his answer to an ebay question, he claims 10-20 hp incr over stock, not very convincing comments. I'm also wondering about the suspension. It sits really high. Not really interested in the car, but it has some questions in it.

My biggest concern - talk about sucking hot air into the carbs!

What’s with these pictures? I could do a better job with a stone and chisel. Anyone trying to sell anything on eBay or the web should be able to buy a cheap digital and take some clear pictures.

Default This is mess'dup

This is for the shark with the webber carbs.

I queried:

"The body appears abnormally high (over the wheels) of this car. What has been done to the suspension?"

removed weight the carb set up is less than the injection allso air conditioning removed suspension is all stock

What a load.

ZERO bids. I guess people aren't dumb as he thinks.

I think he just has really big rims, with excessively low-profile tires.
The "roller-skate" look.

He's probably right about the suspension being stock.
But to look right with those tires, it needs to be lowered.
Even so, they still look like they are really the wrong size tires and rims...

I recall someone posing the "wouldn't it be cool if someone carbed a 928?" question once. I thought on it for a moment and said "no, that's really stupid actually. Spend the money/effort on better induction, not worse."

Aparently, someone thought I was wrong.

As for the suspension, I think the wheels are doing it. Also, the fact that he may have taken the picture inmmediatly after remounting the wheels (or reinstalling the engine) comes into play

A fool and his money are soon parted, I won't make it two fools on this one..
