Default Interior Progress

I started this winter on the interior of my 1982 euro 928. The car is Metiormetalic grey with full burg. leather interior. I am working on a 2-tone look and doing some other upgrades along the way. I removed all of the interior and the dash, leather dash was ok, just need to be redyed, Currently it is redyed and reinstalled. I purchaced a set of 8 way power leather front and rear seats to replace the cloth/leather seats. As well as a grey carpet set from "scottm' and a few yards of slivernit to finish off some missing pieces and the seat backs/door panels. .

Here are a few upgrades i have treated the ol' 928 too...

1. Restitched and redyed the steering wheel, added a 2-tone leather acced and a recessed titainum crest to the horn pad..I have matching ones for the door panel inserts.

2.Redyed the e-brake handle and added a grey leather accent.

3. Spent today ar the drill press and sander with some 3/16 aluminum sheeting and made a set of gas, brake, and dead pedal pads.

Take a look and tell me what you think.

Everything looks great! I really like what you did with the steering wheel. The pedals look nice too. I just finished placing most of my interior a month or so ago (seats, dash, carpet, console). Smells like a new car now.

Interesting door speaker conversion; looks like a quality job. Are those your handiwork, too? Very clever!

You're going to have a really sharp shark when you're done. Congratulations!

In theory (I was contemplating this for my Euro's quarters) .... you don't have to use a big plate. All you need is a ring as wide as the speaker to raise it. I like the concept. So simple.

Thanks guy's..the pedals i made by hand out of 3/16 sheet aluminum and the ol' drillpress.

The speaker panels for the separates are just a panel of mdf cut to match the angles where the door panel, arm rest, and the door handle meets then beveled on all 4 sides. Covered in matching leather.then screwed down from the back. I am going to try to intergrate them into the panel better as well as make a bump out in the lower panel for a 6.5 midbass..I will end up with the 1.2 tweet, 4" mid and 6.5 midbass on the doors...I still have just over a 1/2 hide of burg. leather for the top part and enough grey slivernit for the lower panels.

Thanks again for the iterest.
