Fixed my Cruise - Time for Bed
Who Hooo!
Just finished resoldering all the connections ont he cruise brain. Vioalla! Works like a champ! Granted it's about 7F outside right now and there is snow and ice on the side roads, but I just had to take it out to see if the damn things works. And it appears that it does now!
Before when I'd set it, it would sometimes hold speed, but then it would slowly lose it. Accel seemed to work fine, but nothing else. Tonight, I set it at 50 and it held 50 for about a mile before I turned around to come back. When I hit reset, it took me right back up to 50!
One thing I did notice was that it didn't want to hold at around 40. Anyone know what the slowest speed they can set on the 928 cruise? Just curious more than anything.
One lees thing on my winter maintenance list. Good night!

Mine kicks in right at 30. I found that out when I hooked it up for the first time and went for a drive. The reason the PO had disconnected it was that there was a short in the harness going to the control stick which caused it to go to full acceleration. That was exciting!

Sounds like a real hoot, Marc! Andrew, mine seems to allow itself to be engaged around 30-35mph. I didn't check it that closely. Interestingly, I find that it has no problem working at triple digits...
