Tarek,
I guess I missed reading about you getting this car. I've seen it. It was in Portland for a long time in the hands of a gent who said he received it as payment of some sort of property debt. It looked to be very clean and started up and ran nicely when I looked at it. As I recall it is an A/T with appearently stock euro motor. No turbos or SC. It is really w-i-d-e. A little radical for my taste but certainly attention getting. Have fun with it.
Cheers

I'm with Normy on this one. That image almost leaves me speachless. The word that does come to mind, however, is YUCK.
What did that poor car do to anyone to deserve that fate?

Normy, Joe, Jheis,
This particular car is certainly not for the 928 purist. I agree that it's way overdone, but it's different and that's what I find appealing, but not most appealing, and that's why I have a collection of widebodies, of both the subtle and radical types. I must admit that this one is starting to grow on me. Probably because it's the most hated by the purists...I'm sure that being the lowest mileage 928 (known to me) makes it more special. It is currently my daily driver. But if it came down to picking one widebody, my favorite is the Jacquemond/Strosek, which I will post pictures of this weekend.
But NOTHING compares to my bone stock (except for roof rack) 86.5

A little too "ricey" IMO but it looks well done and thoughout. Those rear scoops also give it a high performance look, the stock 928 lacks. Still... the stock 928 is stunning in its own sense and a wide body with body kit is far too much.
Paint it black and you have the new Knight Rider.

Red car's my favorite, Tarek.
Fond memories of weather and antics.
Do you think either of the black cars would even fit on those NC mountain roads.
You'd never be able to back the Euro Widebody out of the Robert's estate driveway.

No worry Ernest! I'll have perfected 2-wheel driving through tight spots by then!
