It looks like that belt is either the original or it was overheated. I hate to point this out...but when I took my distributor apart one day to see what the belt looked like, it looked much cleaner than that inside. Are you getting water in there somehow?

At least you didn't light the bumper cover on fire like mine did when that little belt broke. My belt didn't look nearly that bad. It just looked like it had worn thin somehow, and was just too thin to hold together anymore.
