I am sure the information you have is in your update.... The VIN quoted PS820073 is a '93 car. WP0RR2925PS820073 Bought in Canada April 1993.

I contact you offlist about another "interesting" GTS as well.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Thanks. #0073 is currently #9 produced of 77. I have recently gotten information on ALL GTSs and will soon publish information about EVERY single GTS built from 92-95! After the new information is added to my web site your car will be officially the 13th produced of 77 for MY 1995. I have ALL the VIN's for ALL GTSs built. Stay tuned

I don't know if VIN info will tell us much about a particular engine. Can you give me any details about the car it came out of?

I was hesitant about saying anything as I seem to have very little free time these days to update my sight let alone fix the registration forms. In any case, its great stuff and I was amazed by some of the tidbits of info I picked up. It's not a complete history on each car but it does confirm some basic info. Pretty amazing stuff, stay tuned......

Sorry, I naturally assumed it was a 95. You're talking about the metallic black/black 93. I only know what you had on your web site a few months ago.

You'll have to give me the VIN of the white car, I think I know which car you're talking about.

Here's one from CA where the motor was replaced by Porsche for oiling problems. Don't know if this is it or not........

IIRC, Brendan's motor came from a 1994.

Hey Chuck - found this old thread on your Black GTS... With rear window washer -follow-up to the questions over a year ago... can you tell me more now?.

Where is the fluid reservoir for this and is the pump in the same place. Are these Porsche parts? Any idea how they routed the washer tube...

I'm assuming there is an extra washer bottle is in the back somewhere... how is this pump controlled - did they use the no longer required intensive wash switch - or something else? Is the jet the standard 928 heated jet(looks like it) or a 944 style round one? Do you think it was a factory exclusive install or some aftermarket adaptation?

Hi Alan, This is an old one! The car looks quite a bit different now. Here's a picture from Sunday, April 9th where the car won 1st place at the Lowe's Motor Speedway Auto Fair in the 928 class.

I think I answered the rear washer question when H asked some time ago. I'm going from memory on some of this stuff but do have a couple pics. There is a hose running from the front washer bottle to the rear window washer and uses the same pump as the fronts. It is a Porsche installed option. The one thing I haven't taken the time to figure out is how to actuate the washer or if it is heated. Don't think its the same nozzle as the front as it turns in the hole unlike the fronts. I haven't tried to take it out for fear of breaking it. Here are some pics from when I was cleaning the car early on.

Thanks Morgan. It looks a LOT better than it did a year ago this time with just a couple things left to do. I want to get the intake and cam covers powder coated so I can clean the engine compartment. I also want to get a sub woofer/amp box along with a new head unit to complete the stereo. Most of this stuff will come from Dave Lomas at Motorsport. A carpet piece from Gary Knox and a red strut bar brace and it will be about done.

.....oh, the wheels are made by iForged. If you should ever decide to buy a set from them send me a PM and I'll tell you what you need to get straight with them before they build the wheels. Very nice wheels however.
