This season on Canada's Worst Driver4 had a very nice condition '83-'84 in it. They pretty much destroyed it by the time the first episode ended.

Hey, FWIW, here's another Raspberry Red Porsche ... not a 928, but same color and with Sharon Stone driving ;-)

Default 928 in the movie "Ronin"

I was watching the movie "Ronin" for probably the 15th time and caught a glimpse of a '87 and up 928 from the rear as DeNiro is chasing Natasha McElhone driving the wrong way on the elevated freeway. Anybody here have that car or know who owned it? I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't more vignettes of the 928 in this movie.

Great car chases in that movie -- some of the best. I never saw the 928. Thanks for the heads-up, guys!

Actually, one of the promo videos for the Panamera is shot on the same road as many of the chase scenes in Ronin...

I was there too, in september....

Yeah Love Ronin

I went to the French town of Arles just because of that great movie.

Below is the window above the cafe which the character "Gregor" was hiding out in shortly after the Nice/ Villefranche-sur-mer car chase with the Audi S8

Great movie! Cool that a shark was somehow a part of it, even if just a passing glimpse.

Yeah, they were playing this movie all weekend and it was cool seeing a 928 in it.
Love the chase scenes!

There is another scene in that chase that shows the rear spoiler of the S4. I guess it is a shot from the hood back because THAT shot is the one that caught my eye. The A$$ of a 928 is unmistakeable.

As with others I'd never spotted the 928 in all the times I've seen the film & i normally look out for interesting stuff in film backgrounds.
Have to watch again now asap, not that I need an excuse, great film.

P.S. I chatted to somebody back in the summer who's friend had just acquired one of the films M5's, still with a few dents, I wonder how many they used in the film ?

PPS. Since the film I keep looking at S8's for sale , resisted so far !

the car that they rolled off at the end of that scene was an E34 but not an M5. Obviously it would have been a waste to destroy one of those when a 518 would do just as well.

Damn that's strange. I re-watched Ronin this weekend, coincidentally. Must've been all those mental vibes swirling around that subconsciously influenced me to pop it into the DVD player. Never spotted the 928 tho, I was too busy noticing how nicely spaced the oncoming cars were for slalom action. :-)
