Smear hightemp silicone over the area and use heatshrink to compress and cover the repair while the stuff is still wet. It will dry and seal with the help of the shrink. Won't last forever but it will hold it for awhile. Don't get silicone into the breather hose.

I just got the parts and got two rubber gaskists/seals for the water manifold crossover. They fit into the groove under the two crossover outlets of the manifold. BUT when I removed it, it also had paper gaskits in there. they don't show in the PET and did not come with all the gaskits I ordered. Does anyone know if I am missing something, or it is OK with just the rubber gaskits?
I would hate to do this twice...

From memory fine with just the rubber gaskets, don't remember any paper.

Thanks for all the advice, I got it back together and the oil leak is cured.
After removing the small elbow holding the thermostat, the water manifold came right out and changing the hose was very easy. I noticed the seal for the thermostat inside the water manifold was all crusted up, so I removed and replaced that as well. The biggest challenge was to get the left rear allen bolt back in straight, but it all worked out.
The hose I took out had the strength of a mozarella cheese stick, so I guess I will have to do all the hoses under the intake eventually.
regards,
Sab.
