At the time he was trying to sell it for 18K or so.....most who looked at it either backed out..or offered around 10....
So....hope all the issues got resolved...

Its a piece of well trodden dog doodoo, it looks way worse in person and I think the dealer had it for more like 4 years.
Interesting to see which part of the country it turns up in.

So the seller gets about 14k and the buyer paid 16K and BJ gets $2,000 or so ........The seller may have even been the buyer !! that is how no reserve works . The reserve numbers are limited and sell out years ahead so people opt to gamble on no reserve and sometimes buy their own car to" protect " themselves from a very LOW sales price.

I was wondering if this was the one from Spokane. I sent e-mails 2 different times telling them I was interested and wanted to arrange a PPI, they never answered...

That's right Chris, the Spokane dealer probably had it for four years, and what about the two dealers before him?
What a shame to see a true (tourist delivery) and modest (rear insignia delete)enthusiast's 928 become a dealer lot beyotch. (Assuming its the same car).
I truly hope that the new owner of the car will take and restore it to its full and deserving former glory.

No doubt the seats are in need of attention (re-die_) however that’s not all dirt.
The drivers seat has its die worn down to the hide (dark spots). The side bolster looks to be a combination of blue jean stain and dirt.
