I have standard suspension with 17" wheels - a great compromise for everyday driving. I have had rides in 928s with factory sport suspension and 16" wheels and found it acceptable also. I don't know how the combo of sports suspension and 17" wheels would affect the ride, but it might be a little too harsh for everyday driving, but good for spirited or even light track driving.
