there two cars relatively the same in terms of miles, condition, and color. Both are 5-speeds, one has sport suspension and one does not. Which 928 would you prefer?
Assuming you do NOT intend to modify the car in any way.

Totally go for the sport suspension IF you don't plan on going with aftermarket and IF the suspension is good. My sport suspension performs much better than my standard ones. And it is very old.

I have the 474 option and I've commented before that I consider this a 'track car' ride right now. I must say, driving normal 928s is a pleasure in comparison for every day use. The motor mount job helped my ride quite a bit, and when I get the ride height set, and the alignment done, I think I'll be happy. My only reason to vote for 474 option is cause I have it!
Does option 474 also include a slightly larger anti-sway bar? The shocks are much stiffer on my car, even with 130k miles.

without hurting ride too much.....it's a must have in my opinion.
Doc......I would contend that your sport shocks with 130K miles on them are very much worn out and could be the problem with your poor ride.

Now if you ordered sport shocks on an S4.......I don't know if you would just get regular S4 springs, or the slightly higher rated GT springs......same for the GTS.

I've the GT and 474, shod with 18" rims and 35 sidewall profile tires and Mr Ott's rear drop links.....The ride is nice and smooth and doesn't go "beached whale" on me when I hit the twisties.....I wouldn't willingly buy a car with a softer suspension........not if I had the choice.

Standard is best for me - sport setup is much to harsh for regular use and I can't afford to keep replacing my fillings
