Btw has anyone seen that sticker before? I have never, before my '85 auto.

The starting instructions? no.... if it's on the ashtray lid as it appears to be, then it's probably the second thing to come off after the window sticker...

The capacity of the AC system is somewhat mysterious at best. The little Tech Spec booklet shows 1050g for my car, which is VERY close to the 37 oz. shown on Jeff's sticker. Jeff, do you know/believe that your sticker is original? Has anyone actually seen a gold AC sticker? There are certainly both Gold and Yellow original stickers on the early cars. At the moment I'm planning to go with Yellow for the AC, unless someone can show me that they did at one time exist in Gold.

Section. 87 of the WSM shows 950g/33.5oz. for 1979,
from '84 to June '88 1050g then 950g after that, and
from '84 to June '88 1200g then 1150g after that with 'auxilliary AC system' (rear AC)

The 42.3oz. in Nicole's sticker corresponds to 1200g, which is supposedly the before July '88 volume, but hers is MY91. Go figure. Bill, what volume do you think your sticker should show?

Hi Eric, The stickers on my car all appear original. Besides, none of the PO's seemed to care what the rest of the car looked like, so I can't imagine them worrying about a sticker under the hood.

Cheers,
Jeff
