I'm guessin' that you've got the impression that the folks here don't think highly of adding 'NAWZ' to these cars, eh David.
There are a few that have done it though - they'll probably drop in here to give you a couple pointers.

Think hard about doing that, David.
Nitrous is highly corrosive to metal parts and oxidizes them rapidly. Short engine life of ferrous components (like rings and valves) and non-ferrous (like aluminum cylinder walls and piston heads) is the result.
Nitrous stinks - there is a distinct and unpleasant odor out the tailpipe when you burn NO, especially now that they have are mixing it with Sulfur so the kids will stop inhaling the stuff.
Nitrous is inconvienent - couple pushes of the button and you are "out". Out of nitrous and out $40. Lame duck till you can go get your bottle filled again for $40 again.
There are, on the other hand, several supercharger kits (we make one of the best) that work on air alone - produce 100+HP - and you never run out.

There's several posts regarding nitrous, also PM Chris and Mark Kibort as they have personal experience if I recall previous posts well. I used it on 944's without problems, and would consider it on my 85. Ed

Thanks John for the info.
I am aware of all the negative feelings towards NOS among my fellow 928'ers and appreciate their comments as well.
If I go ahead with the project I will let you know if my Dog enjoyed the ride, how much my Dental bill was, and if my neon lights still work after my passenger side floor pan blows out!
