Does anyone know of a source for the wrench that is used for the ride height adjustment for the stock Boge shocks on an 87 S4. If you've managed to pick one up, do you know the part #?
Ace Hardware sells a "kitchen sink strainer wrench" for about $10. It fits perfectly around the adjuster, however it also has on the other end, an open-ended wrench that you'll use as the handle.
PROTO C474 Spanner Tool. Unlike some tools this one adjusts to the size of the adjuster you are working with. Works on all Boge, Bilstein and Koni shocks. Do a search for it, there are many places on the net to get them.

When I see those sink wrenches I always wonder if they're up to the task. Anyone?

I've haven't used one yet, but another local 928 owner has and said they work great. Some of them have a 3/8" square hole in the center. That allows you to insert a 3/8" socket extension and ratchet, making for easier access and adjustment.
Part of what makes the 928 "experience" so rewarding, is this forum. I don't know of any other forum where the owners are as supportive of "their own". Advice, and even parts, are offered for free, PPI "drive bys" are volunteered for, roadside assistance is a given, and on and on. We are part of something very unique.
Having said that, I'll probably go for the sink wrench first, (the path of least resistance), and go on from there.
Thanks everyone.
