Default Is Sean a owner??

Geez here we go again with this....I noticed several cars on Ebay from this guy, but none of the cars seem to be in the same town. Is Sean advertising the cars for others and taking some part of the sale money for his effort, or does he actually go and buy the cars and resale them. He's selling a wide range of miles and condition it looks like.

You may want to do a search and find topics related to your question.

He's a Broker.

Read a few of his auction discriptions and judge for yourself. He sounds like a broker through and through, but the feedback from his previous sales are quite glowing. He stays at the upper end of the market for sure.

He's got a decent rep for nice sharks, but your basically paying a commission to a broker if your in the market. I suggest you contact the owners and outsource the brokers and buy it out from under him. Cut out the middleman if you can and save money.

thats what I thought. If I am listing my car locally, he comes along and says" I can sell it for you for a fee". I was hoping he knew the cars through and through and could vouch for the condition. He must filter through the less than average examples if his reputation is as high as you say.

The sorry point is: I just bought a shark and alot of it was thanks to to rennlist. But at the sametime. I publically had to show zero interest on this shark until I owned it. Because I didn't want Sean or Lower Mile to buy it and wash the car, then add 3k to the price and sell it back to the person who wanted it to begin it because they 'detailed' it. Sean don't deal in crap sharks, so if you are buying somthing nice. You have the middleman factor to deal with.

The other factor is these guys deal in nice sharks but are drunk in their arrogance about it and not very humble. IMHO.

I would never buy a shark from a 'dealer'. You get no history, they don't care or give a single **** about the shark. All they care about is commission and a fast buck. The shark is just flavor of the week and no personal care on who or how it gets in the hands of a proper owner.

For some its the way to go depending on what your looking for. But then again. I'm the type that will sell my own home and not pay realtor 8% to show my home when I can do the same without them..

Yes it was.

Check here for some pics.

The car is like nearly brand new. Every thing Jamie said was true about this shark. Very nice for a 85, very nice. Anyway back on topic.

If people are in the market for GTS and dont' have time to drive across the US like I did, then Sean is the man to get you the stuff. I took pics of a truck transporting a 993 and a Boxster on the back of truck. These guys serve a purpose even if I don't need them other people do!!!

I found an '85 euro 5-speed 27k miles for a friend of mine, and I regret not buying it. I have driven it and it has a long life ahead of it. That red euro seems perfect for red ufo. Nice car.
So many 928s, and they're cheap!
p.s. I talked to the owner of an '80 euro 5 speed with 27k and full leather, but I am waiting for pics and have not seen it.

Wow!

Very nice, upload more pics if you got them. Hope to see those low mile sharks get a good home here on rennlist.

Off topic I know, but whats the little red light to the left of the plate on the back of the Euro for? Is that the ejection seat warning so the following car can break right?

agree with Sean being stuckup. He had an Euro S4 import a while ago on ebay. By chance I knew the original owner and have asked Sean about the previous life of the car in Switzerland. He didn't care nor mention that the car had an accident there, although it was perfectly repaired.

Months ago Sean claimed to be knowledgable about 928s, got caught in brokerese then later claimed to have been made whole by buying one. I haven't seen anything that indicates he has any 928 knowledge beyond the odometer. He and Lowmiler don't participate here at all other than to hype their products. If you PM him, he will send you alcoholic rambling emails defending himself. Now he claims to be 'making his living selling sharks.' That implies exclusivity (he may not be aware of that, as sober english is not his first language). What I think he means is that he makes his living brokering vehicles on ebay and some of those have been sharks. He has satisfied customers but obviously his company sells trucks, etc. He may be honest, but what can he really offer you if the car is on one coast and he is on the other?
