These hinged wings came on the VERY early 1987 928 S4s only. Looks like a nice piece, good luck Ron.

Is there a release, or does it just flip up when pulled on?

Would it ever bounce up on a rough road?

Now that I see how it works, it doesn't look like hinges could be added to a fixed wing. Molded differently? Good luck Ron.

Ron I can tell by the guy's writeup that he read JimB's recent comments about the hinges costing 450+ dollars each, and I therefore believe the reserve is above my high water mark.

I have wondered what happens when you spin an S-4 at speed ?? does the hinged wing pop up like an air brake ? would it shear off ?? I recognize you would have more to worry about than the wing but I wonder ......
