I am very impressed at your initiative in getting this sticker thing going. 928 owners rock!! However, like Bill and Nicole I too would much prefer gold foil stickers. I have been watching this thread with interest, but really wanted authentic looking replacements. I did buy a (yellow) High Voltage sticker from Porsche a couple of years ago. But I never installed it because I was disappointed that it was yellow. If up-front costs for the gold stickers are an issue I would consider splitting the initial run cost with you, and you could reimburse me when the last one gets sold. Also, a U$5 target price is not at all necessary for me. I think I paid about U$10 just for the one (yellow) sticker that I do have.

What a great owner community we have!!

Chris-
Got my labels yesterday. Just put them on. It looks a lot better than the old torn one I had on there. Thanks again!

For the (yellow) High Voltage sticker alone (P/N 928 701 163 02 which substituted to 964 701 163 00) I paid C$10.06 in April '02, which is ~U$7 for the single sticker.

I can certainly understand if Chris doesn't want to run the risk of paying for a big run of foil stickers. There are businesses devoted to 928 restoration and repair that could do the foil ones, and could rationalize the investment in a large count. HINT, HINT. Anyway, Chris, I just want to let you know you really did a nice thing by making these up at all and I thank you.

I like the yellow ones Chris, nice work. If you make foil ones I'll buy those too. And look into doing ALL stickers, there are a few

It's not like these labels are aftermarket or OEM. So, I don't think you'd get any of Big Three to buy un-authorized Porsche parts.

Thanks for all the ideas.

Can anyone take a pic of the R12 Label for me ??

Another option to having the labels printed on anodized Aluminuim is to have them printed on the samed medium but in gold color. Just putting it out there.

Does anyone care about the slight size mismatch ? Right now I am using the die sizes they have in stock, I would have to pay for a die to be made if this is an issue.

Chris,
Received the stickers today thanks.
Roger
I will pay extra to have all the stickers as close to original as possible and I will take three sets please. Size not so critical as long as they look stock.
The "High Tension" and "Firing Order" are still available fro Porsche.
I paid about $8 & $16 each earlier this year.
Thanks,
Roger

Although the FO and HT stickers may still be available, they are not foil. The originals on my 89 are gold foil. Not sure when they switched to yellow.

Chris, I no longer have the R-12 sticker on my car. Hopefully someone else can shoot one for you. I don't think having the exact size is important. Of course, the stickers themselves aren't that important. It's just nice to have a reasonable facsimile on a well-kept car.
