Thaddeus - with an original price of over $100,000.00 when 928's were still in production - that piece of crap you mention is not one of the positive aspects one would care to show off. It amazes me that they didn't find something with a little more quality & funtionality

Cool. Glad they worked out OK.

Seem to have been pretty popular, only got a few sets left.

Chris:

Thanks for the labels. Is their any chance you could do the R-12 A/C label?

Also, how much would it cost to have them done on foil finish like the originals on my 89?

Sent you a PM Doc.

Bill, I could have had them printed in the foil finish, problem is to get them for $5 I would have had to have like 100 of each printed, also 3-5wk lead time compared to 5days. Too much risk IMO.

Yes I can do the R12 label (or any label for that matter) takes some of my time to do the artwork but the real issue is if enough people want one, min print run is 25.

If anyone has a strong desire for something let me know, otherwise it was fun just doing this one off.

Chris: I tried to email you, but iti bounced back with the following error:

553 ( 5.3.0 <chris@928s4.com>... Source of mail-abuses. Access permanently denied to domain name and IP block[s])

Anyway, just like Bill I'd prefer to have the original type finish. But I'd still be interested in the other ones, if you have any of them left. You can PM me or email to nicole @ mossinger.com (remove the spaces around the @).

Chris:

You don't need to get them down to $5 to sell them to me! For a good replica of the shock warning and firing order labels, which are foil on my car (not sure about the R-12, as it is missing), I would pay quite a bit more than $5 each. Porsche wanted a pile, and they no longer produce any of them in foil and one or two of the stickers are apparently NLA.

All the cars prior to 93(?) were R-12, so I would think you would have a number of takers for that sticker.

Chris: You might not be able to sell all stickers at once, but over time wyou will. Think about this: 19,000 928s in the US, none younger than 9 years. Hundreds of those if not thousands are in the hands of enthusiasts. Within the next years, many enthusiasts will start fixing things up. Sure, they are not essential to the functionality of the car, but they belong to it. You should be able to sell quite a number over time. Consider a little PayPal based online store, like www.928stickers.com. Or contact the big three to sell them for you. Or do a joint venture wiht Jager Engineering or QuckCarl. But try to make them as authentic as possible.
