Bill . . I got the shocks from 928 Int'l & the springs from Dozman (off his S4) and the adjusters from Joe's 85 Euro. When I brought the set up to the shop, they had one still together and I had one apart. I couldn't compress the spring with my spring compressor tool (so stiff it stripped my threads) so to the shop it went. I'll update with any results.

Ron...your first post.."The adjustments are down even with the threads. " When the shock is assembled correctly you can NOT see The threads. Look at the adjuster nut the larger diameter portion with the notches must be at the bottom and not at the top . I think the adjuster nuts may be upside down which would explain the current snobbish attitude of your car. Look under your S-4 and compare.

Ron: What shocks are on the car? The reason I ask is I just had Bilsteins installed. After 3 "adjustments" with the spanner, I have about 1" of threads showing, the fender lip is right at 27". If what Jim says is correct, I wonder what is going on with mine. It looks right, but I still haven't had it aligned since installation, not driving it much til new tires and alignment is complete.

Jim . . Excellent idea, I should have thought of that. It's raining outside now but i'm heading out to the garage & looking at the S4 set-up. Let's say the adjusters are on correctly (Euro). I don't see no threads, that much I remember because I adjusted both of them down to even (Adjuster & Threads) while the set-up was on the work bench. How can the adjuster be upside down? I'll go look.

Steve . . I have the factory Boge shocks. Like I said earlier, I don't want to adjust the adjuster off the treads in order to lower it. Right now if I adjust it down, it will be going off the threads. Thanks for your reply.

Hey, right now would be an excellent time to test the shark's Dukes of Hazzard abilities.

Hope there are enough adjustment threads to get it to stock ride height!
