Default Hello....new Shark owner here........

Hi.......I'm new here......been lurking for a while and wanted to introduce myself.

I've owned many a Porsche 911 over the years, but the 928 has held a special fascination for me from day one. I never thought I would find a really good one with all the normal issues properly sorted out, when this 1987 S4 crossed my path two weeks ago.

Now.......if only I could get a 92-95 GTS for reasonable money I'd be really happy.......but that will come.

Welcome!

Let's see the interior - they all look pretty much the same on the outside.

Welcome!! And a big congrats on a very nice shark.

Now run run run away!!!!!......................

Before your wallet loses all its' cash and you have signiture that is a mile long.

Happened to me...before I joined the rennlist I had no idea what a timing belt was or that it was important, what a RMB,SITM,SITP,TBF, or WTF meant, and now I have two sharks with one supercharger and another in the works and the NEED for more!!!

But more to the point the enjoyment that I get from my cars has tripled and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Red UFO......

The chrome rims are a little too "bling" for me......but as it costs a small fortune to dechrome them and refinish them.....I won't bother.

Randy V....

Ask and ye shall receive, here's the engine as well.......the seats are great.......no mashed cushions or damaged bolsters......no dash cracks.......no nothing.......everything works as it should (so far......eh !!) It has "rear air" as well.

Chris0626.....

76,000 miles.....automatic.....obviously the "GTS" wheels (I have the originals too)....and according to the original window sticker that came with the car it has the electric sunroof, raised hub steering wheel, alarm and increased air (rear air).

bcdavis.....

The car already has the muffler bypass...the original muffler is in a box in my house.

Shane.....

I know these cars tendencies to eat into your wallet quite well....moreso than 911's. I'll be staying stock.

Thanks for the welcomes to everyone else.

Welcome to the rennlist! Your shark is beautiful - looks like a US model to me (rear AC, rather than heated seats, which were typical for Canada), so you are ready for a summer vacation in Florida or Arizona. Have fun!

Welcome man. Another victim joins the forum. We kinda think of this place as group theropy. I must say your 87 is quite the fine looker. If it runs half as good as she looks look out.

Very nice example. I agree about the chrome rims... they don't look as good on the red. Funny, I was just typing in another thread about how rarely you see the chrome cups...

VERY NICE! Welcome to the gang!

Are those wheels 18's?? (even 19's??) or - maybe just the camera angle....Rear ride height looks low - those wheels are filling the rear wheel wells...again - maybe just the camera angle...

Damm that looks alot like my 88, except for the wheels and interior (mines tan). Something about a guards red 928 that just works....I originally said I would never get a red one...then I saw mine, it was over....already got the RMB...which is a must on the S4, otherwise its just too quiet....try this...cruise 60mph on a nice open stretch of road...floor it and hold on....2nd gear and BWAAAAAHHHH...80 just like that.....I love doing that, that double kickdown rules
