Default Best Deal on C-2 Wheels

Anyone know the best price on the c-2 wheels? Those look like the ones that I want. I'm reading that some people don't like the replica wheels. I'd rather have OEM wheels.

Thanks,

Ron

Look for them used on ebay......they come on frequently and the prices are good......I just bought a set 4 in 18in with hoosiers for under $700 bucks.

Gretch,

Thanks for the info.. I hope nobody bids on thses for 85 and under 928's. They won't fit the guy has told me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7918700542 I'll keep looking. Some of those center caps look so damn cheap. My original dish wheels have brand new tires on them. May ask someone here for trade.

Thanks,

Ron

Gretch,
Did you find OEM or replicas for $700?

Redidrum,
Check out Hartmann Wheels
I purchased Twists from them some time ago for $800.

The back pair at 8x16, ET 52 are identical to the 8x16 ET 52.3 S4 flat dish - and definitely fit.
The flat dish 7x16 ET 65 fitted to many 928 fronts is inset 10mm more than the 7x16 ET55 C2s you are looking at; however, these will still fit with 225/50R16 and stay within the 50mm scrub radius limit. There are likely many 928 running ET 55s on front with even 8" widths.

Garth,

Are you saying that I could buy these and have them fit with my original 225/50/16 Comp T/A tires that are brand new! that would be great. I'll follow up...

Thanks,

Ron

While 245/45R16s will 'fill' the rear better on the 8x16 wheels, the 225/50s you have will work just fine.
I have 225/50R16 on 8x16 CS wheels on front with the OEM ET60mm (see avatar), and the backs are 245/45 on 9x16 ET60 - and they take 28mm spacers to completely fill the wells on a 1980.
Do the 'offset math', and you will see that the C2s in question fall within the footprint of the CS wheels on the same chassis ('80 vs '84).
