Default What color should I paint my car?

So I am going to need to decide what color to paint my car coming up soon. It will have the Jacquemond body kit and I've already picked out the interior leather which is a rich camel color.
I am thinking about a deep metallic blue (lapis I think) or deep metallic green. Also I love the color of the Copperhead truck that they built up on "Trucks" on the Spike TV Channel.
The other option is a color shifting paint, like Kameleon from House of Kolor, but with the body kit on the car may actually start to look too rice (plus it is pretty expensive)
There are also the standards like a Porsche red or silver. Or do you have any other suggestions?

What do you think? What color would you paint it?

Personally - I'd paint it the Factory Color.

http://www.houseofkolor.com/hok/index.jsp Has all the paint chips for most vehicles/manufacturers.

Merged the two threads.

I'd say Platinum Metallic but that interior colour doesn't go with it.

I think the deep metallic green would go well with the camel interior.

Orange or Copper would be ok too, but the color of the interior will probably
not exactly match the exterior, so it might look odd.

But green and tan go well together.

Chameleon is way too rice.

I would recommend light colors rather than dark colors. The amount of body work and fiberglass used will look far better in light colors , bright colors. Dark paint shows imperfections black requires nearly perfect to look good at all. Speed Yellow , Hemi Orange , Plum Crazy, big bold colors. There is little point in being subtle or original. White by the way is the most forgiving color when it comes to body work.

I was about to vote blue, since its a great color that will look good on your bodykit. However, rich camel leather might not look right with a blue car. Green or copper will complement your interior choice quite well.

i would go with a deep deep red,,we use to call it "deep brandy red",,no metal flake but super high gloss,,so dark that at night it looks black till light shines across it and you see the red glimmer

Rob,

Go for the Dark Midnight Blue Like Mine! I used the 2000 Boxster Blue. The touchup paint froM the dealership matches up perfectly. I can send you pictures. Everyone always compliments the color of my shark. It was a much lighter Blue originally. Much nicer dark, but, body must be perfect.

Ron
