NEED HELP How do you disable factory S4 Alarm?
I have no start due to injectors not firing. There is fuel (pressure) in the rail but not getting to the cylinder.
I have done/checked just about everything except for jumpering the alarm.
How do I do this on the S4? I don't even have a long key or the option code for an alarm, as far as I know I don't have an alarm but since I've done almost everything else why not give it a shot?
If someone says location Z jumper 1 and 6, I am going to jump off a bridge. My panel ends with W.

I just look a look.
The only thing out of the ordinary, or different from the US normal alphabet is the deletion of I in the naming of the plugs. I looked on both the board and on the plugs and there is no X,Yor Z to be found.

My car doesnt have the alarm either but when i added my disable switch i tapped in to the wiring/area that was used for the alarm system. Its been so long and Im away from the car right now that i cant really help you...but, if your car dosnt have an alarm, it is hard wired out of the sytem and I doubt its the problem?
IIRC the WSM does show were the alarm is installed and what wires are involved. If i pull my little switch, it kills the car dead in its tracks..it cranks, thats it.

Thanks Tony.
The car now starts. We don't really know why, but it does.
We found the plug for the alarm. It is an 8 pin plug that is behind/on top of the fuse panel just sorta dangling if there is no alarm. 1 and 4 are jumpered.
If there is an alarm the plug is pluged into the alarm unit which is behind the glove compartment.

A bad/intermittent EZF relay did the same thing to me. I'm surprised Jim B. didn't give you his 'relay, relay, relay' sermon!!
