This is an interesting poll. Very interesting would be to see how the data in this poll changes from year to year.

Not too much has changed since I took a quick poll 20 months ago.

I hope the longevity trend continues... less turnover keeps the cars in good condition.

The GT - about 21 months, so I answered 1-2 years. If you add in the time that I had my previous S4 (about 34 months), I am about 4.58 years. The way that you have done your split, I wouldn't be able to answer since 4.58 isn't really 3-4 years and it isn't 5-6 years either.

I am just being an idiot. Please ignore me.

Results so far out of 90 votes:

60% (54/90) have had their 928 at least 3 years.
32% (29/90) have had theirs 5 or more years.

And from the comments it sounds like those number may well increase.

It would be interesting to repeat this in a couple years and see how it's changed. Maybe by then I'll figure out how to do it without triple posting the thread!!!

I've had mine 8 years and 8 months,

Drove it home newyears eve in 1995. I bought it from my dad who owned it since 82. I was getting out of the old 5.0 mustang phase and he was getting back into it.

I took my wife (girlfriend at the time) to homecoming in high school in the car. I'm now 37 and as Chuck Z. says, don't ever plan on selling it. Too much history with this car!
