Gamblers Run ORR
Hello All,
I'll be off to the Gambler's Run Twin 50 Open Road Race on
Thursday. I know Paul M and Tim D will be joining me. Any
others? Highway 225 north of Elko Nevada is a very interesting
and challanging road, 32 turns and 700 ft elevation change in
50 miles of freshly repaved 2 lane highway. This should be
a fun event. Paul finished 1st in the 135 class at the 2004 Pony
Express this June, and Tim finished 5th in his first event, the
Bonneville 100 in July. I finished 2nd at the Bonneville 100 and
hope to do as well in the 155 class this time.
Here is a photo of the start line from last years event with Bill B.,
Paul M, and my 928 waiting to make a prerace run of the road.
