Default New Shoes

My Fikses are here and mounted and realized I hadn't taken care of getting lugnuts. I have three or 4 different sets. Is there any reason why one set wouldn't be compatible with a certain wheel?

Yes: The design of the collet - the wide part of the nut that mates with outside face of the bolt hole in the wheel - determines compatibility. Some are a conical section. Some are spherical. Spherical ones have different radii of curvature. The collet needs to have the same shape as the face surrounding the bolt hole.

Your OEM nuts should work - at least they do for my Fikses. Folks don't like the black on silver. Too bad.

Good call... also, I put new black nuts on with my new blingers... Still undecided on painting the recesses in the rim. But I think the black hardware is a nice contrast. Well, everything on the car is black or metallic anyway, except the badges and the air filter, misc. lights...

Ewes are correct, of course. What a difference in look and feel, very fun!

Very nice! What size wheel and tires are you running now?

I generally don't like aftermarket wheels but those are hot. Nice mod.
