Played with a Tiburon
i was driving home from school when a Blue Hyundai Tiburon GTv6 slides up next to me, the driver staring me down. Of course, you know the guy was thinking, "hey look a porsche 9-4-4, ill show this 4 cyli" so i give it a little thrust of gas and pull about half a car legnth up on him to show him i was game, followed by him immediately matching speeds with me. so i push the pedal about halfway down, pulling about 2-3 car legnths in front, then i let off the gas and he flies past me. so i give it maybe 3/4 pedal and catch up no problem. This is the beautiful part. I could tell by his engine noise that he was giving it all he had, i looked to my left at the driver, smiled at the driver, floored the pedal and hit the kickdown switch. within seconds im 5....7...9...probably 15 car legnths ahead of him, slowing down, and making my turn to get home. I wish i could have seen the look on his face.
not 9-4-4.....9-2-8 baby.

Shame shame, don't ever do that on public streets, take it to the race track, you could kill someone, you are a maniac, turn in your keys.....
Now, if you had waited to see his face and tell us about the humiliation the guy must have felt well then, we'd probably be a lot more leniant on you
Don't ever race without a kill report, that's like "catch and release" fishing

Chris -
If you would like to learn how to track your shark - I'll let you know the next time PASA has an event at Firebird. The car club program offers new members a discounted price of only 40.00. Thats for Drivers Orientation (mandatory) and 4-5 rotations at 20 minutes a shot.
All you need is your car in order and a MA approved helmet. If you want I'll even be your instructor - LOL!

I gotta agree with Bill on that one. A Tiburon is pretty much a sure kill. Kinda like David and Goliath. If I was the Tiburon driver I would have played. I win "great I beat a Porsche" I lose " I knew I would". This is what I would say to myself. Now Going after a beefed up Z28 like I did today on my way home from work now thats sport hunting. Man 80 - 125 in an S4 is seriously note worthy. Guys, the Z28 is a very quick vehicle and when they are punched their ready to deal. We were neck n neck looking at each other a few times. I guess we both had that "COME ON" expression on our faces. Can't say there was a winner on that one because traffic came up way to quick. I can safely say that we probably have an admiration for each others car. Now compare the money spent on both vehicles and I won way big. 17 yr old car with almost 200k on it. Now you tell me who won. WooHoo!

I've said it before, and say it again: You have to really annoy me before you get me to do something like that. Then, usually, I give pepole a quick taste, making sure I stay within or at least not much over the limit. Near the limit I step off and watch them race past me with ridiculous speeds. Let them get the ticket!!!

Watched a guy in a brand new Brabus Mercedes conversion SL class show off his car by accelaerating hard off the line at every light. A few lights later I am sitting a couple rows back not really paying attentio and I hear this incredible roar. My ears and eyes perk up and I see the Mercedes and a red Saleen Mustang tearing it up. Mustang pulled him by a car length. I love to see that stuff. 40,000 (maybe) vs. 120,000. I did a similar thing to a CL500 with a Brabus kit some time ago in my 928. Didnt dare race him off the line ( he jacked me up ) but I took him at a rolling run from 70. Had a half car length on him by 125 when I backed out of it coming into a populated area.

Nicole, perfectly understandable that that is your driving method. For me when it comes time to take them to school all rules of logic and law go quickly out the window.

Yeah, but what KIND of Brabus? If it was a true Brabus SL65, I doubt there's any way in hell the saleen could have beaten it for long. Keep in mind I'm too lazy to look up stats, though.
