Yes Tim, I would be interested. Nothing needs to be done to the inside bore, right? See I already had these re-lapped a while ago and I would hate to have wasted that money. Please do see what kind of time frame and idea of fund it would require for me to get your people to do it. I will even be in Chicago Aug 19-24th and can ship my block to myself there and bring it up one day, or have a friend bring it up. Please do tell - If you wish you can email at brendancampion@***.net

Tim,
Thanks for the updates. Great work!

As Dave asked:
How many hours/miles did you need to run before the injector cleaner did its work? And what did you use? Techron?
Also did you mix with a full tank of gas or some fraction?

Thanks.

I mixed with a full tank of gas and used Techron. I think it was the 20 gallon sized bottle and I divided it between 2 tanks of gas.

Thanks for the info, Tim. I think Techron is the best stuff out there for pouring into the gas tank. Question: Do you think you need to change the oil or fuel filter after you use it?

By the way, I just received my copy of Corky Bell's "Supercharged!" and am soon to be a customer of yours. Please keep up the efforts and improvements. Will the fuel rail modifications and 2nd fuel pump be added into the S4 kit? Thanks!

That's not my girlfriend.

What times do you think my car could do on street tires?

I don't think you would have to change the fuel filter. I am going to change the oil after 500 miles because of it being a fresh rebuild.

I don't think this level of mods would ever be part of the kit but I would be happy to share what I have done if someone else wanted to do it.

Tim,
Two BIG thumbs on everything.

As far as "tip in detonation" I think your problem may have had to do with the absence of the stock regulator in your system. I have absolutely no problem with "tip in detonation". This is part of the reason I kept the stock reg and added the Corky Bell 2025 boost referenced RRFPR as I was telling you over the phone. This way there are 3 different functions that independantly increase fuel pressure. The stock reg raises pressure from vacuum to atmospheric, the 2025 takes over at atmospheric and raises it to a set level, then a seperate function of the 2025 raises fuel pressure at an adjustable ratio per psi of boost. It is not clear to me that the Vortech SFMU increases fuel pressure as vacuum decreases and if it has the same dampening effect that the stock reg may have. BTW I have several videos of my boost gauge next to an LM-1 next to an ARM-1 and it is clear that there is no lean spot with onset of boost even though it takes under 1 sec to reach full boost. I have watched one over and over in slo mo and when the gauge reaches atmospheric there is an instantaneous increase in ratio. Neither A/F ratio meter indicates a lean condition.
Maybe you should try the stock reg in sequence with the SFMU.
