I would say you can fuel 6 lbs of boost with the addition of a rising rate regulator to ramp the pressure up under boost. Maybe 70- 80 or so psig would get it?

Carl,
You *should* have no trouble if you use a RRR and the stock injectors at 5-6 PSI. The questions I have are- what is the A/F target ratio?, w/ intercooler?, and what is the target RWHP?
I would just run up and we could install, datalog with wideband, and remove the setup on my '84, but I'm afraid it would be a monster pain as I have updated alt and p/s pump which puts me with a late-model crank pulley.
PM'd you on some other stuff too.
Greg

Thanks, Greg for volunteering your L-Jet 928 for the Dyno run.
We will install our kit on it this August and post dyno results once we have them.
There are a lot of requests for a DynoJet chart from a L-Jet car like yours.

Here's a dumb question but my 928 has the A/C system and I'd like to take it all out - really dont need it anyhoo - snorks too any HP's from the engine....
Now is your system built to be installed with or without the A/C ?
I have the ugly and very big '85 928S3.... huge plenum and intakes...
Thanks Carl,
Denis

You can buy your 928M Stage 1 or 2 supercharger kit and pay for it monthly. PayPal says the payment for the Stage 1 kit is $179 a month.
Hope that helps!

I could at least sleep in the garage with the supercharger, right?

Ah .."snorks too any HP's from the engine...." only when it is being used plus rolling down the windows at highway speeds causes more aero drag horsepower loss than running the A/c for most cars...

I find horsepower loss so offensive that I totally deleted the ac systems from Godzilla :P .... actually I will be installing it as soon as I have time. Totally worth the power loss.

I enjoy tooling around in a boosted Shark both with and without my wife and kids with the AC on. If it was gone, my wife would not bother even getting in during the summer. I guess I can afford to give up the 10-15 HP. I have had "toys" with removed AC, and we rarely used them when it got above 80-85 degrees-my old 'vette with headers, straight duals and a fiberglass floor was the worst! Don't give up the AC, and I am 99% sure Carl's kit keeps the AC fully functional.

If a/c power loss seems like an issue just wire a switch under the accelerator pedal that cuts off the A/c under full throttle.....

Don't a lot of new cars cut off the A/C under WOT? The 986S feels like the A/C shuts off at 3/4 - WOT.
