Default Occupation

I've worked at Intel Corp. for over 20 years. Spent the first 14 years in Finance (operational and systems). I then moved into a Project Manager role dealing mainly with Software development, localization or Marcomm. Bought the GTS with some stock options after the stock price dropped significantly. A consolation purchase. I have felt good ever since. So far the estimated value of the GTS is above what the options would be worth now, so I feel even better.

Today I'm a Customer Category Manager (read Acct. Mgr.) for Kraft Foods Global Inc. I peddle mac & cheese and Miracle Whip among other things to Albertsons in UT, ID and MT.

Tomorrow, who knows...

I'm noticing a lot of techno-types here. I wonder if there is some sort of demographic appeal to the computer adept.

Tim this method of sampling is not at all accurate ........... computer/ tech types are far far more likely to be active and vocal on a web forum . I still have thousands of customers who do business the old fashion way with out a computer ....

I laughed at this thread when I first saw it, but had to read it all anyway. I never would have guessed there were so many tech related folks driving these cars...go figure LOL

Personally, I can't really say I have a job or an occupation, done a lot of things, been a lot of places with 5 years of college to boot. My main source of income at the moment is worldwide computer hardware trading....out of my house no less. 3 hours average of work a day kicks my butt....seriously. I spend most of my time goofing around with cars, music and my aquariums. I retired 10 years ago at age 36, but my bank account doesn't seem to know that. No interest in working, just want to goof off all day.

In the process right now of devising a money funnel on the internet. "CLICK*...order processed". Then it's time to buy that old mansion in the country with the huge carriage house and renovate it.

Yea, I'm a slacker, but there's money in that too!

John,

Glad to hear you are an ax murderer. I was really getting worried that you may work for the government.
