When I converted to Konis the front adjusters were also frozen. No amount of persuasion helped.
The adjusters were set all the way down which came in a 155mm; exactly where I wanted it with Eibach springs. The ride height depends greatly on spring length and rate so all predictions are off as to where it'll end up.
FWIW I set my shocks at 3/4 of the way from soft to hard. I forget how many turns that is.
As the springs are a royal PITA to get in/out, it might not be advisable to gamble.

Setting Shocks
Thanks Guys, the first thing I did when taking the Koni's out of the box was play with the damper setting and adjust it as per their instructions for standard road use.
I haven't had time to sort out the adjusters, they've had to go back on the car as they are.
For anyone about to attempt this job, here's a pic with the car ready for the shocks to be reinstalled.
