Finally, a pic of my new car.

'Candy" looks great Geoff! Now that you've developed a taste for Nougat, do you suppose another one will pop up? - there's a lot of space between here and there - maybe at least a third ....?

Can't wait for Devek Days.
Emanuel- I had never been further east than Indiana. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the roadside stops were. Like little cities with a bunch off food choices as well as currios and ice cream, plus fuel. Very nice way to stretch your legs.

Garth your car looks sweet. Thinking real hard about updating to wheels like in your avatar.
Bill-
Is there a driving event like the one at your excellent SITP event?
Regards,

Geoff:
I'm going to put out a notice to organize a ride, probably in the Wine Country late this month. August is DEVEK. If they do not have aride we will do one somewhere. In September we will do a ride South to Monetery again. I'll keep you posted.

Sound good Bill. Please do keep me in the loop. i'd like to become one of the faithful participants in Norcal.
Mike-
Not sure where it was to be honest. I had to work until 5:00 on the 6/10, my flight to Vegas left at 8:10 Which was a no miss deal as I couldn't have made my connection to Boston otherwise. Got home to grab my stuff and have my wife take me to the airport and she is having an annual migraine that necessitates the trip to the ER for injectable narcotics. Do that and cop a ride with my mother to the airport. The ride to Vegas is next to a lady that wanted to share her life story from DNA to the present day so no nap. The layover for the flight to Boston is just long enough to go through Checkpoint Charley for security clearance again with enough time for a bourbon and beer. The flight to Boston was through some of the roughest weather I've ever encountered and as such my next seat passenger was "nervous" and quite garroulous so only cat napped an hour or so. Got to Boston at 6:20 local time so I was beat. Meet the guy do the deal. Check out Boston a little bit (particularly Harvard as i'm in law school and thought why not) and headed west. By the time I got to that rest stop I was not quite into my second wind so I have no idea other than it being in New York. If it was you I would have loved to meet you. Maybe at a SITM someday?
