Default Would you like poly rear sway bar bushings?

I may as well be upfront. This is selfish at its core. I may be able to get my cost/per reduced if I have other people get some of these.

The rear sway bar bushings, for those of you that have removed the trans (thats a catch by the way) are soft and mushy even on low mile 928s. I propose that some rear wheel wasted movement could be taken up as it is in the front with the 928 specialists front bar bushings. I would buy a bar of it and the guy would charge me 50 bucks each piece just for labor. That goes down as I need more bushings, and the material is 25 each if I only get one or two.

You would have to BE removing or would have to already have removed your trans for these things to be usefull to you. I have done group things like this before. Some work (wing) and some get shot down on take off (I can't even remember what it was, but its not a big deal)

Anyway....

So it would be $150 for rear poly bushings?

The idea seems enticing to me, I think I may need some TT work sometime soon, and the tranny would be out for that, but I don't think I'm excited enough to pay $150. How low could it go?

Jeez. I think so. The idea is to remove some of that cost. Damn. I'll talk to the guy.
