Lightbulb Special Request

With over 60,000 users/members all over the world I have a very special request. Would those of you who don't list your location please do so, even if it's very general. I think it would be an even greater asset to this great Forum. Thank you very much. PS: Since I'm going to post this on all forums please forgive the repetiveness.

Agreed, would also be great if people signed their posts with at least their first name instead of just an anonymous screen name.

Ok Don, I put my location back for you. I had removed it since my 928's don't reside where I do. No room on this island for sharks to play.

I have been answering to Hacker-Pschorr since the PCA event last labor day when Lag would only call me by that name.

They say you are what you eat (or drink) so given the three options:

1. Hacker-Pschorr
2. Red Meet
3. Lorelei

What would you have picked for a 2nd name?

Thanks all. I just wanted as many folks to put their location (general if you wish) on your signature just so we know where you're all from!

Gretch, I think your screen name is AWESOME! But, I also know your real name.

It's just akward to be talking to someone at a 928 event and they introduce themselves using their real name and you have no clue who you're talking too unless they tell you their screen name.

Plus, I think some people hide behind their screen names when they post on this list. I've seen some things written that I seriously doubt would be said face to face or if the post weren't written anonymously.

There may be some of that... but, I put my real name in my sig so there is an opportunity to make the connection. Actually, my screen name is more unique than my real one. There have been two other Dave Andersons here at work since I started... there were 2 at one high school, and in my high school woodshop class we had 3 Dave Andersons! Some of us choose screen names just because we're tired of getting phone calls for the "other guy with the same name" and just want to try something fresh...

I understand completely, I work with a John Smith! Imagine the cracks he has heard his entire life.
