All this talk about the CS 928 and the 89GT's in general got me thinking about one of the rarest of the rare Canadian spec 89GT's.
According to Rob E and his handy database, there are 15 total all optioned the same (see the 89 928GT thread : https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...gt-thread.html) with 8 having sport seats and 7 standard seats. I believe all came sans rear air (big plus) and they also had KM digital dashes (non-switchable to US) and celcius temp control. They also did not come with the day-time running "fogs" wired on.

Is there a list of all the c36 VIN's (production date etc)?

Were they produced across the run of 89GTs or all near the same time? (Not that there was a huge expanse of time -like 3 months)

Who here has one (or knows of one)?

I'll start with mine (one of the 8 with sport seats). Mine is a 3 owner originally from Toronto. Second owner brought it to California with him and that's where I got it back in 2002ish. Surprisingly nothing was modified when it came "across". Pic is in the avatar.

928 GT R

It looks like the thread is not getting many takers so I'll add that there were a few Canadian GTS's to keep it on the first page.

Mine is a 94 dual certified "Exhibition" model. One of 42 worldwide. A fairly insignificant model designation as it only means the car went through the exclusive department three times to add a few parts and perfect the paint, fit, finish.

Love it that the Canadian GT's almost all have sport seats...

If I remember well, the owner told me that his son bought it new in Vancouver (or around there) and sold it to his father latter on.
