Default Old muffler after RMB for S4

Hi all-

Any of you that have upgraded to a RMB on your S4 want to get rid of your stock muffler cheap?

I don't really know. I want to cut it up and try an experiment so not much.

They cost something like $500 from Porsche. 928Intl has used ones for $250. So, you thinking of gutting one as a "cheap" RMB?

They go for about $50 on ebay.

Yes Bill you got it exactly. The PO of my car deleted the resonators and it sounds good. Not real intrusive but a bit of a growl. Want to see what it would sound like with an RMB w/o going whole hog on the expense. If it sounds okay to me than I would get one.

Devek days is coming up... there will be lots of different exhausts to listen to. You might get lucky and be the subject of an RMB tech session, though I'm hoping that they get into some really juicy technical stuff.

I think if you combine this with the resonator deletion you will find it too loud, unless you just partially gut the muffler. The RMB alone is good. That's what I have. Resonator alone probably about right too. Anyway, look like eBay may be a good source.
