NOT MILES, Kilometers!!!! IE 3,900 miles. Poor old girl, she has not ben treated well at all. This one needs to be looked at closely. I would like to see a picture of the engine bay.

So much missing from the story as to strain credibility beyond the point of even....humor.....

There may be a pony in all that horse siht, but it will require a bit of digging to find it.

It is interesting that the most knowledgable owners often sell to other knowledgable buyers, getting a fair price for a well kept car. The guys who seem to clean up though are the guys who know nothing about the car, selling to buyers who know even less about it.

If it ever comes time for Gretch and me to part ways, my heart will want to sell to a knowledgable buyer, but my head says: "find a dummy with more cash than brains"......

This car is something special but I would not buy it for one reason: It should have been properly restored, and that means it should have been sold to someone knowledgeable and that person should have spent 5 times the purchase price to restore the car properly. Looking at the seat leather near the lower backrest, it's clear to me this is not a proper restore.

It might be worth buying the car and throwing the rear hatch away, installing a good one and replacing the seats with unmolested ones. Those are some very low miles. Almost couldn't drive her ..... Seal her up and vacuum pack her for posterity ... after proper restoral.

heinrich.........the milage CANNOT be accurate.............if it is, the reasons for having to paint and re upholster the car so significantly impact the value that was once there, as to make milage irrevelant, except in the case where the car is parted out........

Unless the miles are rock solid documented, this car is a parts car
if the miles are documented then its a low miles parts car.

as stated above it would cost to much to bring this car back.

now if the car was low miles and original "good"condition then it would be a collector car.
