New Guy to the block..
Just recieved my Rennlist Membership and wanted to post a note. Let me first say thank-you to all the members that have answered questions and given great advice since I have started to use this site. What a great resource this is for all 928 owners. I have some good mechanical skills but when I purchased my car last year not running properly it took 10 minutes on this message board and 2 short blasts up the road to relalize how great this group of people are. (Its amaizing how loose intake boots can really affect the way a car runs.) Hopefully after a long winter of working on the car and soon to be track time I will be able to return some of the great advise. I have added a picture of the car I bought for a "song" because it didnt run properly??? All original Paint , no rips tears 1986.5 , 170km......Paid less than 4k U.S ...Needed a tie rod and 4 tires for safety...Thanks Again ......

Welcome! I agree with the comment about getting an alignment following your new tie rod installation. You'll destroy your tires pretty quickly if you don't.

BTW, you might want to put some info about your car in your signature, so that if you ask for advice you won't have to keep typing those details. Anyway, enjoy the summer.

Hi Munyguy, Welcome, Eh!
Only one adjective to add to Dave's note, which would be SHORT summer ... Enjoy, Eh!
